China Southern Airlines Refund Rules

Legal analysis: 1. If the original ticket is refunded free of charge, the refund procedures shall be implemented in accordance with the provisions on the use of the original ticket; 2. If the original ticket is refunded with compensation, the passenger shall cancel the reservation 24 hours before the flight takes off, and submit the original visa refusal certificate (visa refusal letter, visa refusal seal, visa refusal email, etc.), a copy of passport and ticket information to the ticket office directly under China Southern Airlines for review. After the audit, the original sales channel will handle the refund formalities, and no refund will be charged; If the passenger cancels the reservation within 24 hours before the flight departure, the 500 yuan handling fee will be refunded and the balance will be returned to the passenger; 3. If the original ticket is not allowed to be refunded, the passenger should cancel the reservation 7 days before the flight takes off (excluding the day of departure), and submit the original certificate of refusal, passport copy and ticket information to the ticket office directly under China Southern Airlines for review. After the audit, the original sales channel will handle the refund formalities, and the refund fee will be 500 yuan; If the passenger cancels the reservation within 6 days before the flight takes off (including the day of departure) and puts forward a refund, the refund fee is1000 CNY; 4. If the passenger makes a refund after the flight takes off, the refund procedure shall be implemented in accordance with the original provisions on the use of the ticket; 5. If the group passengers refuse to sign and return the tickets, the refund provisions in the team documents shall apply, but these provisions shall not apply; 6. If there are provisions on visa refusal in the original tariff document, or the provisions in the original tariff document are applicable to visa refusal, the original tariff document shall prevail.

Legal basis: Article 821 of the Civil Law of People's Republic of China (PRC), if the carrier lowers the service standard without authorization, it shall refund the ticket or reduce the fare according to the passenger's request; If the service standard is improved, no additional fare shall be charged.
