No matter where we go, safety is always the biggest expectation for ourselves and our loved ones who care about us.

Tonight, the school counselor used the evening self-study time to explain school safety issues to us and watched the safety education video. After the activity ended, I still felt deeply.

This safety education mainly gives us safety education from the aspects of how students should prevent fire, theft, fraud, robbery and pay attention to traffic safety. These are things that we usually encounter from time to time and make us Learn the most profound lessons about security. Just like the example we saw in the video, four girls from Shanghai University of Commerce were killed in a fire because they used high-power electrical appliances privately in their dormitory. They eventually jumped from the sixth floor to escape the fire and ended their blooming lives. We can only imagine how much pain their passing will bring to their relatives and friends. Another example is an incident that happened in our school last year. It happened in a dormitory opposite our dormitory building. It was also because a classmate's irregular use of electricity led to a fire that was not too big. Fortunately, everyone was safe. There are many similar living examples in front of us. They seem far away from us, but in fact, they may happen around us if we don't pay attention for a moment. Here, I also appeal to everyone to establish awareness of campus safety and protection, and to spend a pure and beautiful university life safely and happily.

Let’s talk about the issue of anti-theft. This is something I have personally experienced, and unfortunately it happened to my friend. It was noon, and all the students had finished class. Everyone came to the food street with hungry stomachs to eat. Of course, the thieves were not idle at this time. They knew very well that this was the best time for them to strike, so this unfortunate thing happened to me. While we were eating together, the thief had already taken away our friend's mobile phone. When we found out, it was already too late. What makes people even more angry is that this happened to another classmate of mine in a different restaurant in the school at the same time. It can be seen that these thieves had a purpose and committed the crime with accomplices. So we came to the conclusion that schools are not necessarily safe. Therefore, we must pay attention to the protection measures against theft on campus and take good care of the things around us.

When we see these unsafe things around us, we will also feel fear and sympathy, whether we feel sorry for the students who lost their lives due to fire accidents on campus or for the students who were stolen on campus. The tension made us realize the importance of safety.

Peace is always the most important thing we must do first. Only with peace can we study and work with peace of mind; only with peace can our parents not have endless worries about us every day. ; Only with peace can we strive for the future.
