Ning Hao decided to go to college. Although I have a painting foundation for nearly ten years, I have also received art examination notices from six schools including the Central Academy of Arts and Crafts. However, during the physical examination, he was found to look weak.

Painting in Taiyuan, a heavy industrial city, has no market and people are not interested in appreciating painting. Ning Hao, which has always thought that it has special skills, is unwilling to develop in such a city.

1997, with 2000 yuan, went to Beijing alone. When Ning Hao thought that only a big city like Beijing would have a painting market, reality shone into his shy pocket, and painting could not support himself.

But he found that taking photos can make money. Senior photographer? Ning Hao's first shooting target was the Tang Dynasty band. Even though only four rolls of film were made, Ning Hao was bold. He volunteered directly and asked the guitarist bachelor: Do you want me to take your picture? ? Just asking casually, I took a photo for him, and then took it back to Shanxi for others to do post-production in Photoshop.

Later, Ning Hao was admitted to Beijing Normal University. Among the graduation works of Beijing Normal University, Ning Hao's Thursday and Wednesday was seen by one of his alumni. Fang told Ning Hao: You can be a film director.

With Thursday and Wednesday, Ning Hao won the Best Director Award in the 8th Beijing University Film Festival, which inspired him as much as Fang said that he could be a director.

But Ning Hao didn't have a clear idea of becoming a director, and continued to be a photographer. He will take pictures of major newspapers as long as there is a job.

When I was studying at Beijing Film Academy, I wrote a book called Incense, which was about to start shooting, but investors were worried that the film would become an underground film and would be fined, so they withdrew their funds.

Ning Hao decided to film it and do it as a student's homework. Ning Hao bought a DV and spent all his money on making incense. In 2003, Ning Hao's debut "Xiang" won the Best Film Award at the Tokyo International Film Festival, although no one knew that the film only cost more than 20,000 yuan. Ning Hao really started his film career.
