"Illegal parking cancellation declaration" means that after a motor vehicle (including a foreign motor vehicle) is recorded by traffic technology monitoring equipment in Chengdu, Chengdu traffic police will send a text message to remind the owner of the motor vehicle and urge him to complete the declaration through "Rong E Line" within 10 minutes, and take the initiative to correct the violation in time, and will not punish the violation. Those who fail to make corrections within the time limit will be punished according to law.

Within the specified time limit, according to the description of SMS reminder or violation notice, the parties enter the "Violation Elimination Declaration" module in "Rong E Line", enter the SMS verification code, take photos and upload photos of violation correction certificates. After 24 hours, the applicant or motor vehicle owner can query the results through the "illegal parking declaration query" module. If the parties have any objection to the illegal act or the declaration result, they can call the local traffic police department published on the notice of violation for consultation.

According to the relevant laws and regulations, in any of the following circumstances, the Declaration of Cancellation of Illegal Parking will not be adopted, and the public security traffic control department will impose heavier punishment according to law, including parking in front of blind roads, crosswalks, bus stations, first aid stations, gas stations, fire hydrants or fire brigades (stations).
