Setting method of application encryption (application lock)

After opening the application lock (application encryption) function, before opening the application, you need to verify the privacy password (or fingerprint, face) to protect the privacy of the application.

Setting method:

ColorOS 12 and above: go to settings > rights and privacy > application lock, enter the privacy password, select the application to be encrypted, and then select enable encryption.

Coloros11.0-1.3 version: Go to Settings > Privacy > Application Lock, enter the privacy password, select the application to be encrypted, and choose to turn on encryption.

Coloros version 7.0-7.2: Go to Settings > Security > Application Encryption, enter the privacy password, select the application to be encrypted, and select Open Encryption.

Access encryption applications:

1. Access with privacy password: If the application is encrypted, you need to enter the correct privacy password when accessing, otherwise you will not be able to access the application and view related content.

2. Use fingerprint and face access: You can also use fingerprint or face password to open encrypted applications.

Go to settings > permissions and privacy/privacy (security) > application lock (application encryption). After entering the privacy password, click the ":"or "gear" setting icon in the upper right corner of the application lock (application encryption) interface to enter the application lock (application encryption) setting, and turn on the "Use fingerprint or face for application lock (application encryption)" switch.

2.Coloros version 5.0-7.2:

Go to Settings > Security > Application Encryption, enter the privacy password, find the application with the "small lock" icon in the application encryption interface, click Apply, and turn off the "Start Password Verification" switch.

Tips:

① ColorOS 5.0 and above: To use "Application Encryption", you need to set a privacy password first.

(2) Coloros 5.0 and above: You can set "Do not verify before locking the screen", and open the encrypted application again before locking the screen after exiting, without verifying the application encryption password.

③ ColorOS 1 1 and above: application encryption is renamed as application lock, and a quick switch of application lock is added in the control center, through which the application lock can be quickly opened/closed.
