The operator’s maximum data volume per text message is 140 bytes, and each Chinese character requires two bytes to represent, that is, each text message can carry a maximum of 70 Chinese characters (including punctuation and any content). If the message is larger than 140 bytes, each text message will be divided into N text messages and sent according to 140 bytes, that is, the amount of N text messages will be sent.
