Why does my mobile phone receive short messages slowly?

If there is a delay in receiving SMS, you can check the operation by the following methods:

1. Check whether the signal is good.

Please check whether the equipment signal is good. Poor signal, crowded network or shielding devices around may affect the normal reception of short messages.

I suggest you move to a place with good signal, or switch flight mode to trigger the network and try again. At the same time, shut down security protection applications and applications with high data traffic consumption to keep the system running smoothly.

2. Restart the VoLTE function

If you turn on VoLTE for HD voice calls:

Please enter Settings, search for VoLTE, turn off and on the VoLTE call or VoLTE HD call switch, and then try again.

Warm reminder: If the VoLTE switch is not found or the problem is not solved after turning on the VoLTE switch again, it is recommended that you contact the operator to turn on the VoLTE function again, and then restart the equipment to try.

3. Restore all settings of information

It is recommended that you restore the information to the default settings and try again:

HarmonyOS system: information > four points >; Settings > 4 o'clock, select the following to restore the default settings.
