How to deal with forgotten application lock password

Set a privacy password to lock the application to protect personal privacy. If you forget the password for application encryption, please refer to the following methods.

If you have set up fingerprint and facial recognition for app encryption, you can open locked apps with your fingerprint or face.

If fingerprint and facial recognition are not set for application encryption, you can reset the password through the password reset method set when enabling the privacy password, and then use the newly set password to open the application.

There are three password reset methods. Please reset your password according to the password reset method you set when you enabled the privacy password:

After entering the password once on the password input interface, click "Forgot Password", an operable password reset method will pop up.

1. If you have set a security question, you can enter the security answer you set before to verify and then reset the privacy password.

2. If you have set up a secure email, you can reset your password by entering "the complete address of the bound email address; enter the verification code received by email".

3. If you have set up a linked account, after verifying the account, you will jump directly to the password reset interface and enter the new password.

If you forget these password reset information, you can back up important data on your phone and then restore your phone to factory settings to clear your privacy password.
