Alibaba Pingtou Ge released the Tie Xuan 9 10 processor. What is the origin of this processor?

It is reported that Tie Xuan 9 10 can be used to design and manufacture high-performance on-chip applications in the fields of 5G, artificial intelligence and autonomous driving.

Ali said that Tie Xuan 9 10 is the IP core of CPU and the key kernel driving force of the chip. In terms of performance, Tie Xuan 9 10 supports 16 cores, with a single-core performance of 7. 1 Coremark/MHz and a main frequency of 2.5GHz, which is more than 40% higher than the best RISC-V processor in the industry.

The performance breakthrough of Tie Xuan 9 10 is due to two technological innovations: it adopts a complex out-of-order execution architecture with three starts and eight executions, which is the first RISC-V processor in the industry to access memory twice per cycle; More than 50 instructions are extended on the basis of RISC-V, which systematically enhances the computing, storage and multi-core capabilities of RISC-V.

Tie Xuan 9 10 will greatly reduce the design and manufacturing costs of high-performance chips. In the future, it will be in the fields of 5G, artificial intelligence, network communication and autonomous driving.
