The starting point and end point of Beihai Xianghai Avenue

Xianghai Avenue has been opened to traffic, which has greatly improved the image of Beihai City and strengthened the construction of the transportation network from the urban area to Tieshangang District.

Xianghai Avenue is located in Beihai City. This project is an expansion project. The original state is Yingbin Avenue and the North Railway Class I Highway, with a total length of 44.819 kilometers. The expansion project starts from Lianzhou Bay Seaview Avenue (near Gaodegang Bridge) in the west and ends at Section C of Yingzha Road in Tieshangang (Shitoubu) in the east. Among them, the section from Lianzhou Bay Seaview Avenue to Bailong is 21.087 kilometers long, with 8 lanes in both directions; the section from Bailong Road to Yingzha is 23.732 kilometers long, with 6 lanes in both directions.

The entire line is constructed as an urban trunk road, with a design speed of 60km/h. There are 1 north-south expressway hub interchange, 1 Nanzhu Avenue interchange, 8 cross-river bridges, and 1 over-span railway overpass along the line. The main construction contents include: road projects, drainage projects, bridge projects, landscape greening projects, ancillary projects, etc. The estimated total investment of the project is about 3.998 billion yuan, and the total planned construction period is about 18 months. It is expected to be officially completed and opened to traffic in October 2020.
