2. Hospitalization condolences for illness; Standard: 300 yuan, an on-the-job cadre and worker, and 200 yuan, other personnel. Scope: On-the-job cadres and workers and their grandparents, parents (including spouses' parents), spouses and children. Retired cadres and workers. Consolation Committee members: On-the-job cadres and workers and retired cadres and workers are ill and hospitalized, and representatives of the Trade Union Committee of the Bureau go to express their condolences. If the parents, spouses and children of on-the-job cadres and workers are ill and hospitalized, their departments shall send representatives to the trade union to express their condolences. The scope of trade union condolences is mainly holiday condolences and birthday condolences on holidays. The specific standards issued by solatium are determined by the trade unions at all levels at the provincial level according to the local actual conditions. Trade union funds can be used for employees' collective welfare expenditures, including grassroots trade unions' condolences on holidays and members' birthdays, weddings and funerals, and retirement. The annual festival refers to the statutory holidays stipulated by the state and the national festivals approved by the people's governments at or above the autonomous region. In principle, holiday condolences are items that meet the traditional holiday habits and the daily necessities of employees in China, and grass-roots trade unions can adopt convenient and flexible distribution methods in light of actual conditions. On the birthdays of trade union members, solatium can give out physical objects, such as birthday cakes, or cake coupons for designated cake shops. Members can give a certain amount of solatium when they get married and have children. When a trade union member is hospitalized or dies, a certain amount of solatium can be given. A certain number of souvenirs can be distributed after retirement.

Comfort principle

(1) People-oriented principle. When offering condolences to employees, trade unions should give priority to spiritual comfort, supplemented by appropriate condolences or solatium.

(2) The principle of timely sympathy. The trade union gives timely and appropriate condolences to employees who suddenly encounter serious illness, disasters, emergencies and other reasons that cause difficulties in family life. When employees retire, they will buy and offer condolences according to the original practice.

(3) The principle of regular condolences. The trade union concentrated its efforts on carrying out condolence activities on major festivals, extending holiday greetings to female workers, holiday greetings to all hard-working workers, and expressing help and condolences to particularly difficult workers.
