Article 38 of the prison regulations

3. When guests and policemen enter the cell, they will stand up to greet them except getting sick and going to bed as required;

4. Take care of the public environment. No spitting, no littering, no damage to flowers and trees.

What is the duty of a prison?

1, to implement the principles, policies, laws and regulations related to the reform and management of criminals; Responsible for the study and formulation of prison administration and rules and regulations; Responsible for the execution of prison punishment;

2, responsible for the supervision and management of education, health, medical and epidemic prevention and production safety of prisoners;

3, responsible for prison planning, finance, auditing, capital construction and state-owned assets management;

4, responsible for the prison police, staff team building and ideological and political work; Manage and appoint and dismiss cadres according to their authority; Responsible for the labor wages, police management and social security of police officers and workers; Responsible for the supervision of law enforcement by prison police and the investigation and punishment of cases of violation of law and discipline.

5. Complete other tasks assigned by higher authorities.

Legal basis: Article 50 of the Prison Law of People's Republic of China (PRC).

The living standard of criminals is calculated according to the physical quantity and is stipulated by the state.

Article 51

Prisoners' clothes are uniformly distributed by the prison.

Article 52

We should take care of the special living habits of ethnic minority criminals.

Article 53

The prison where criminals live should be firm, ventilated, transparent, clean and warm.

Article 54

A prison shall set up medical institutions and living sanitation facilities, and establish a living sanitation system for prisoners. The medical care of prisoners is included in the health and epidemic prevention plan of the prison area.

Article 55

If a prisoner dies while serving his sentence, the prison shall immediately notify the prisoner's family, the people's procuratorate and the people's court. If a criminal dies of illness, the prison shall conduct medical appraisal. If the people's procuratorate has doubts about the medical appraisal of a prison, it may make a new appraisal of the cause of death. If the family members of criminals have questions, they can raise them with the people's procuratorate. If a criminal dies abnormally, the people's procuratorate shall immediately inspect and identify the cause of death.
