Guidelines for waste classification in Jinhua City (Measures for the Administration of Domestic Waste Classification in Jinhua City)

Follow the principle of large diversion and small classification. Large-scale diversion refers to the special collection and disposal of building decoration garbage, medical solid garbage, industrial garbage, bulky garbage and kitchen garbage. Small classification refers to the classification of daily life garbage generated by citizens at home, office and public places.

What are the main types of classified garbage?

1. Recyclable garbage: mainly paper, plastic rubber, glass, metal, fabric, etc.

2. Hazardous wastes: mainly waste small electronic products, waste light bulbs, expired drugs, various chemical supplies and containers, printer cartridges, selenium drums, broken mercury thermometers, etc.

3. Kitchen garbage:

Kitchen waste refers to high-moisture organic waste produced by hotels, restaurants and unit canteens;

Kitchen waste is separated from kitchen waste, especially the high-moisture perishable organic waste produced by residents in their daily life, which mainly includes leftovers, melon skins, animal offal, tea residue, Chinese medicine residue and so on.

4. Other garbage: refers to garbage other than the above three categories, mainly including dust, toilet waste paper, waste plastic packaging, wet baby diapers, dried fruit shells, big bones, broken bowls, used disposable tableware, used napkins, outdoor fallen leaves, mercury-free dry batteries, etc.

Mandatory garbage classification object:

From 20 18, Jinhua public institutions and related enterprises will enforce garbage sorting.

Institutions: including party and government organs, schools, scientific research, culture, publishing, radio and television institutions, associations, societies and federations, and management units of public places such as stations, airports, docks, stadiums and performance venues.

Related enterprises: including hotels, restaurants, shopping centers, supermarkets, professional markets, farmers' markets, agricultural products wholesale markets, shops, commercial office buildings, etc.
