The memorial hall was designed by the Architectural Design and Research Institute of Tongji University in Shanghai according to the eight-character policy of "nature, simplicity, ecology and science".

the memorial hall covers an area of 142,3 square meters, with a building area of 14,28 square meters and an area of 1,748 square meters in Chen Zhan. The main building is called "crack", which means "fixing the disaster moment between the earth like lightning and leaving it to future generations for eternal memory".

The whole architectural modeling is based on the earth landscape, and the main building volume is formed by cutting and lifting the ground, which extends outward through sinking squares and footpaths, and blends with the gentle grass slope, and partially tilts out of the ground, implying new life and hope.
