The purpose of Qingnian Road Primary School in Taiyuan City

Qingnian Road Primary School has always been aiming at "reducing burdens and increasing efficiency", aiming at reducing students' schoolwork burden and improving classroom teaching efficiency, and advocating "no homework day" throughout the school. After collecting the opinions of some students and parents' representatives, the first "no homework day" was set on May 5th, and the 5th of each month will be the school's "no homework day". Now every Wednesday is no homework day. Nearly 2600 students didn't have any homework that day, and all subjects had to be completed on campus. On the "no homework day", students are encouraged to arrange according to their hobbies and interests.

President Cheng introduced that the purpose of reducing the burden is not to make students have no homework, but to complete their learning tasks more scientifically and efficiently. The purpose of setting up "no homework day" is to arouse the attention of teachers, parents and other students to the current academic burden, and to guide students to grow up healthily and happily and enjoy a happy childhood.
