Teachers and students:

The summer heat is fading away, and the golden wind is refreshing. We will usher in the new school year and the new students of 47 1, and we will stand at a new starting line and start a new journey.

In the just-concluded summer vacation, under the guidance of the goal of "having a rest, learning by yourself and keeping fit", I believe that most students have had a full, rich and efficient summer vacation. Some students use summer vacation to study tourism, enrich their experience and increase their talents; Some students make good use of summer vacation to develop their specialties and improve their quality; Some students volunteered to spread civilization; Some students sweat profusely and train hard to win glory for our school.

The robot representative of our school went to the northeast to participate in the competition and won the second prize in the country. In the National Youth Innovation Competition, our school's Gu Jing Project won the second prize in the country, and Mr. Shi Guoan was also invited to give a wonderful report to the national science and technology counselors. 10 students participated in the XX camp of the National University Students' Science and Technology Summer Camp, and gained a lot, and the school's science and technology work reached a new level.

Our school's track and field team braved the high temperature to train hard, and swimmers and badminton players also made full use of the summer vacation to improve their level. The badminton team went to Nanjing to participate in the badminton competition for middle school students in the province and won three championships in the high school group. During the summer vacation, our school was also rated as an advanced school for sports work in XX city. Two senior three students were successfully admitted to the undergraduate major of physical education in colleges and universities, which once again proved that physical education is also a good way out.

This summer vacation, we have made remarkable achievements in the internationalization of education. Nearly 40 graduates from the international department of our school have all been admitted to famous universities in Britain, America and Australia, and our direct classes abroad project has won the first battle. Thirty of our students successfully completed their studies in American universities and gained a lot. Twenty American students from the State Council Project in the United States studied in our school for six weeks, which became a special sight in our summer vacation. With the active participation, careful design and efforts of many of our teachers and more than 20 classmates' families, it ended perfectly.

We organized a summer social practice activity with the theme of Wu culture, and the students had more understanding and deeper feelings about Wu culture. Wu culture education in our school has been rated as the curriculum base of XX province, and we will increase investment, pay close attention to construction, make a brand and make characteristics. Wu culture is a treasure of Chinese culture and the most attractive business card in Suzhou. It is our goal to make every student have a good Wu culture accomplishment.

This summer, nine students aged 18 were approved to join the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and become glorious members of the Communist Party of China (CPC). During the summer vacation, we held the opening ceremony of 18 amateur party school and learned some courses to help students establish the belief of productism and set new and higher goals in life.

During the summer vacation, our graduates received the university admission notice with excellent results. Thanks to my alma mater and teachers! Start their new life path. It was the school that made them, and they also made the school. Centennial No.1 Middle School has become a famous school in the growth process of many alumni. New school year, new students, this is the life of the school, handed down from generation to generation. Just before the start of school, our senior one students have completed military training and entrance education, prepared for high school study, and become new members of the centennial No.1 Middle School.

Students and teachers! The new semester has begun. Senior one students should adapt to high school study as soon as possible. Junior two students should adjust their study arrangements according to the selected subjects. Grade three students will enter the last year to review and prepare for the exam. Every student, every stage is very important and arduous. I would like to take this opportunity to offer you two hopes:

First, I hope everyone will develop the habit of active learning. Physicist Li Zhengdao wrote an inscription for our school in 1999: Learning requires learning, and only learning can answer not learning. I am glad to have such an opportunity on such a beautiful day. Let me speak my mind and share the happiness of Teachers' Day with my colleagues and students.

This year is 18 years of my work. Looking back, 18 years, I have been working and working hard. Although there are times when I doubt that there is no way, but more often it is a surprise for a better future, so I am still very happy. When one honor fell on my head, when I heard everyone's praise, I was afraid. Because when I look around, I see so many excellent colleagues, who are calm and practical, rigorous and diligent, or smart and wise. Facing the complicated work every day, they have also made a lot of efforts and made a lot of achievements. Compared with others, I am so lucky.

I often wonder what the title of teacher means to me. What kind of life has it brought me? At the graduation ceremony in 2002, my monitor and I embraced deeply and said in my ear, "Teacher, you must be happy!" " "Yes, I have done it for so many years, and I have gained a lot of happiness.

I am very happy because I love my students. Loving students is a teacher's bounden duty.
