Tell me about the origin of the name Yuncheng?

Yuncheng is named after the "City of Salt Transportation". It is the hometown of Guan Yu, a famous scholar in Shu and Han Dynasties. It is located at the junction of Shanxi, Shaanxi and Henan provinces, in the golden position of the Yellow River Golden Triangle economic circle. It borders Luliang Mountain in the north, Zhongtiao Mountain in the east, Jincheng in the west, Weinan City in Shaanxi Province and Sanmenxia City in Henan Province across the Yellow River in the south and west. The whole city has jurisdiction over 1 district, 2 cities,1county, 146 townships (offices) and 3,338 administrative villages. The rural population of the city is 35 1 10,000, accounting for 7 1%. The total cultivated land area of the city is 8.773 million mu, and the per capita cultivated land of agricultural population is 2. 15 mu. It is one of the top ten charming cities of CCTV in 2006.
