Tianshan Tianchi Scenic Area is located 86km east of Urumqi.

① Urumqi-Fukang-Tianchi Scenic Area

Bus: First, take the shuttle bus to Fukang at the passenger station in the northern suburb of Urumqi (the fare is about 15 yuan, and the journey takes about 1.5 hours, every 1 minutes). After arriving in Fukang, there is a minibus in Fukang Bus Terminal to go directly to Tianchi Scenic Area. The fare is about 5 yuan, and the journey takes about 2 minutes. Generally, tourists are concentrated from 1: to 12: a.m., and they will leave when they are full, otherwise they will leave every 3 minutes.

② Urumqi-Tianchi Scenic Area

Bus: Tourists who take part in local tour groups usually wait for the shuttle bus from the travel agency to reach Tianchi Scenic Area at the gate of People's Park and Hongshan Hotel. The fare (round trip) is 5 yuan/person, and the journey takes about 2 hours. The specific departure time is determined by the travel agency, and the earliest one will leave at about 8: in the morning.

self-driving: get on the Hetan Highway in Urumqi, go straight north, and pass by Miquan and Fukang. Not far after the Fukang rest stop, there will be a high-speed road under the guidance of a road sign, and then continue to drive into the mountains to get there.

③ Transportation in the scenic spot

Shuttle bus: the gate of the scenic spot-near the lake (Tianchi), with a total length of about 35 kilometers and a time of about 4 minutes, 9 yuan/person (round trip).

battery car: the drop-off point of the shuttle bus-lakeside, the whole journey is about 2m, 1 yuan. It is recommended to walk to the lake instead of taking the battery car.

Tickets are 125 yuan/person in the peak season (April 1-October 31) and 6 yuan/person in the off-season (November 1-March 31 of the following year)
