What is the topography of western Yunnan?

Western Yunnan is the west of Yunnan. The terrain in western Yunnan is complex. Hengduan Mountain Isoveins occupy western Yunnan. From west to east, there are Gaoligong Mountain, Nujiang River, Nushan Mountain, Chenlancang River, Yunling, Jinsha River and Yulong Snow Mountain. The elevation of the mountain is generally about 4000 meters, and the river is strongly cut down, showing a deep valley with a height difference of more than 3000 meters, forming a famous longitudinal valley area in western Yunnan. This terrain has added many difficulties to military operations, especially offensive operations.
