How about stopping the meeting when the car is full of gas?

I often see some posts saying that you can't fill up the gas, otherwise it will hurt the car. This has caused many new car owners to encounter problems when they buy new cars and refuel. They always don't know whether to fill it or halve it. In fact, it won't affect the car to fill it up or half, but it's better to fill it up if you want to stop for a long time. Let's talk about these topics.

Why did you have to fill it up for a long time? There is a substance called olefin, which has a high octane number and is particularly easy to be oxidized. After oxidation, gum will be produced, which is the chief culprit of blocking the fuel system and producing carbon deposition. Moreover, the decrease of olefin content after oxidation will lead to the decrease of octane number of gasoline. The most obvious example is that the content of olefins is limited in the national five gasoline standards. In this way, 93 # oil became 92 # oil after the introduction of Guowu gasoline, because the decrease of olefin content with high octane number led to the decrease of overall octane number. For cars parked for a long time, if the fuel tank is half full, the contact area between gasoline and air is large and it is easy to be oxidized. But when the fuel tank is full, there is less air and it is not easy to be oxidized.

Another reason is safety. When the fuel tank is full, the oil-gas mixture content is the lowest, because there is not so much spare space to accommodate the oil-gas mixture. The more empty the fuel tank, the more oil-gas mixture is stored, which is the most dangerous thing. It will burn in case of electric spark or open flame, and even explode when the concentration reaches a certain standard. Therefore, after the tank is full, the content of oil-gas mixture in the tank can be reduced as much as possible.

Some people worry that it is unsafe for gasoline to volatilize after the fuel tank is full, but it won't, because the fuel tank is still connected with a carbon canister. After the fuel tank pressure rises, the mixture of oil and gas will enter the carbon tank, and the remaining air will adsorb gasoline particles and then be discharged into the atmosphere. This is the most common example. When we drink carbonated drinks, we all know that the drinks will come out after shaking the bottles. Then the question is, how much will a half-bottle of beverage be ejected after shaking or how much will a whole bottle of beverage be ejected? Must be half a bottle. Because there is a lot of spare space in half a bottle of beverage, give carbon dioxide a sufficient spare space, so that the gas will be compressed more severely. And there is almost no room for a whole bottle of drinks. Just shake the pressure twice.

How to refuel correctly? Besides parking for a long time, how do you want to refuel when you use it? Just be careful: if you fill it up, the gun will stop. It is best not to enter Riga by force. Because the car fuel tank has a special mechanism to control the refueling gun and the jump gun.

We all know that there is a small hole in the fuel filler, which is used to recover the oil and gas in the fuel tank. The hole was blocked and the oil gun jumped. When refueling, oil is injected into the oil tank along the refueling pipe, and the oil-gas mixture in the oil tank is introduced into the refueling port through the conduit (the green part in the above picture) and recovered by the oil gun. When the fuel tank is full, the gasoline level will seal the inlet below the exhaust hole, and the oil-gas mixture will not run away. At this time, if you continue to refuel, it is difficult for gasoline to flow into the fuel tank, and there will be air resistance in the refueling pipe, which will cause gasoline to splash and block the oil and gas recovery hole of the refueling gun, thus causing the gun to jump. So when the oil gun jumps up, it means the fuel tank is full. At this time, if it is added slowly, you can continue to add it, but it has exceeded the prescribed maximum limit, which may lead to gasoline entering the carbon canister, damaging the carbon canister and causing waste.

Generally speaking, if it is convenient to refuel, you can add a fixed amount, such as one hundred or two hundred at a time. If it's inconvenient to refuel, it doesn't matter if you fill it up at one time. The fuel tank volume of a general family car is 60 liters, and the full load weight is about 30 kilograms more than half a box. The effect of this weight on fuel consumption is almost negligible.
