Hand-woven basket course

The hand-woven basket tutorial is as follows:

Tools: a pair of scissors. Material: paper rattan. Dosage: 6 pieces are 30cm long, 1 piece is 4m long. The first step is to divide six 30cm-long paper vines into two parts, that is, to put two groups of paper vines together.

Step 2: Fold the 4-meter-long crutch in half and find the middle position. As shown in the figure below, it is nested in six arranged shafts. Just order three, and just start with three. After each winding, cross the two windings used for winding. The lower one is called six axes, and the upper one is called winding.

Clockwise or counterclockwise, depending on whether you are comfortable or not. Just keep repeating these steps. We always have to go around twice. After winding twice, divide all three wire groups into one wire group and continue winding. The same steps.

Because it has changed from three axes to one axis, it should be tightened when winding, so it is easy to leave a gap here. After running many laps, it looks like the picture below. When the bypass diameter is 4 cm, the diameter is not fixed, and you can wind it as you like, but with the increase of the diameter, the length of your corresponding shaft and winding will also increase.

When its diameter is about 4 cm, we erect all the shafts by hand. Then continue winding. The winding method and steps remain unchanged.

When winding, pay attention to adjust the position, direction and distance between the shaft and the shaft diameter. There is no fixed answer to this, just adjust it according to your own preferences.

Go around to the right height, when you feel almost the same. Or when winding is almost finished, directly fold the winding and insert it into the gap just wound. After inserting two windings, observe the remaining shafts. If the shaft is too long, just cut it off and leave two or three centimeters. Insert all the cut axes, leaving four uncut axes.
