In terms of insurance, what should the salesman say if the customer says I bought it?

Hello, I'm also in the insurance business. I don't recommend you to do so. You have to understand that the company will not check all the violations of the salesman every day, but if the customer complains about this, it will be serious, and then the company will not stand on your side because it is wrong.

You can mention this when talking to other customers (and don't say names). This not only solves the customer's misunderstanding of insurance, but also makes customers feel that you are a person who can keep secrets and have professional ethics.
