Which one is more fun in Dalian Aquarium? Which one is more fun in Dalian Laohutan Aquarium or Shengya Polar Museum?

Everyone knows that there are two aquariums in Dalian. Today I will tell you how you choose between the two aquariums. These aquariums are also different, mainly It depends on which one you prefer. Which one is better

1. Animals. Shengya Ocean World has more fish species (there are also other marine animals), and Laohutan Ocean Park has more polar animals (of course there are also fish).

2. Performance. Both aquariums have animal shows. Shengya has a more profound storyline about animals, while Laohutan has more interactions between humans and animals. You can see what you like.

3. Play. Shengya has five pavilions. It is near Xinghai. After watching the aquarium, you can come out and feed the seagulls. You can also go to Xinghai Square to see the sea, which has a modern urban feel. In Laohutan, you can go to Fisherman's Wharf to experience the fishermen's proximity to the sea and the feeling of a fishing village.

4. Transportation. There is Metro Line 1 just outside Shengya Ocean Park, which is very convenient. There is no subway in Laohutan Ocean Park. You can choose to take bus No. 2 to the terminal station Qingniwa Bridge, where there is Subway Line 2. Both parks are within the city, so you can rest assured.

5. Scenery. Personally, I feel that the scenery near Tiger Beach will be better.

6. Price. During the Chinese New Year, the off-season, both hotels have discounts, and the difference is not big.

As a native of a coastal city, my experience of the local and various ocean parks in Dalian and Qingdao is very similar.

As far as Dalian is concerned

I have been to Sunya, and at that time I took into consideration factors such as distance, price, and park. Shengya has five pavilions, but they are all very old, and all three pavilions are of the fake type. The facilities are not well maintained and the smell of sea water in the museum is particularly strong. The only thing that can make a name for itself is the longest undersea tunnel in Asia, but the tunnels are the ones where the staff take cameras to take pictures of you. In the off-season, the staff surround you, which doesn't feel good. The price in Shengya is cheap, less than 100 in the off-season. On the Xinghai side of the city center, the scenic spots are densely packed and transportation, food and accommodation are convenient.

Laohutan is a little further away and the price is higher. I didn't go, but I did my homework at the time. The content of the venues is roughly the same, and the performances are similar. It only has more bird singing forest than Shengya and you can watch bird performances. But to be honest, such performances are not very attractive.

Laohutan is very large, and it is very tiring to play there for a day. Shengya is very small and can be done in two to three hours. Generally speaking, there is not much difference between the two. If you are not too ambitious and want to see some marine life and have average physical strength or financial considerations, I recommend Shengya.

If you have a lot of physical strength and gold, want to do a lot of things, and especially like jellyfish, I recommend Laohutan Beach. Laohutan Beach has a huge jellyfish wall and is great for taking photos. Laohutan Ocean Park

Laohutan Tan Ocean Park is invested and constructed by Haichang Group, which has ocean parks in many places across the country. The park is divided into five venues, namely: Laohutan Polar Pavilion. The Polar Pavilion is the largest venue in Laohutan. There are performances of beluga whales and dolphins in the pavilion. The first and second floors are made of large glass fiber reinforced plastics. The form displays beluga whales, penguins, sea lions, walruses and other animals all around. The second floor is the performance venue and the 4D Cinema (the 4D Cinema sells tickets separately, 50 yuan per person is not included in the package). Coral Hall: It mainly displays live corals and tropical fish. There are no performances. The tour time is about 30 minutes. Marine Animal Hall: The Marine Animal Hall is a large pool with many sea lions and walruses in it, which can be fed. Happy Theater Performance: A competition between sea lions, walruses and clowns played by acrobats (because it is an open-air performance, the performance is stopped in winter and rainy days every year, but tickets are normal), Birdsong Forest: Birdsong Forest It is a large bird cage built on the mountainside. There are parrot performances and peacocks flying southeast in the Birdsong Forest. (Like the Happy Theater, the performances are not open in winter and rainy days.) It will not be open until May Day before returning to normal. Sun Asia Ocean World

Situated next to Xinghai Park, it also contains five venues: Aquarium: It is the longest underwater passage in Asia. Visitors take horizontal elevators to shuttle among the fish, arrive at the performance venue, and perform For: Fantasy Dolphin Bay Show, a show by princes, princesses, mermaids and dolphins, Coral Pavilion: the pavilion displays live corals and tropical fish, just like Tiger Beach.

Polar Pavilion: (includes two performances): Kung Fu sea lion and walrus performance: funny movements, warm atmosphere and sound will definitely bring you laughter, Beluga Legend: Beluga performance

It is quite similar to the Aquarium + Happy Theater in Laohutan Ocean Park. Sunya Deep Sea Legend: Sunya's masterpiece shows the shock of the ocean in the form of light and shadow. Schools of fish swim overhead with dynamic music. At the same time, you can also experience moving oil paintings and tilted bridges. . Sunya Dinosaur Legend: The mobile 5D cinema is located next to Xinghai Square. Sitting in a car that looks like a dinosaur eggshell, you can experience the scenes of dinosaur life, volcanic eruptions, earth shaking, harmonious wetlands, and growth as the rails move. group of dinosaurs.

The retail price of tickets for the two polar aquariums is 220 yuan. It is difficult to say which one is better. According to our experience, Shengya is more suitable for younger children. The venues are more concentrated and it is not tiring to visit. The performances are also more dramatic, mainly because there is no need to worry about being queued in the sun during summer in the city, and the performances are not affected by the weather all year round, and there are more performances than at Laohutan Ocean Park. The queues are better in the peak season

The venues of Laohutan Ocean Park are scattered. There are many entertainment facilities, ropeways, four-dimensional movies and cruise ships in the park, but these are for rent and are not included in the package. Laohutan Ocean Park covers a large area. It takes at least 45 minutes to walk from the park entrance to the exit (excluding Birdsong Forest). Therefore, it is suitable for young people with strong physical strength to visit. However, during rainy days or winter (November-May), the performances at the Happy Theater and Birdsong Forest will be suspended. Tickets are normal.

4. Transportation routes

Laohutan Ocean Park: There are Route 2 (to the train station), Route 4, Route 404 (direction to Xinghai Square), or Route 30 at the entrance

Shengya Ocean World: Route 49 (departs from the zoo)
