After the New Year, I quickly picked up the car as soon as I got to work. ?It’s not driven much at the moment, only 400 kilometers. The experience is not too deep, and the speed does not exceed 3,000. I can only briefly talk about my experience. ?First of all, why did you choose this car? In fact, I never thought that I could buy this car at first. I guess it was based on the bicycle. In fact, my dream car has always been an E coupe, even if it is an E200. When I looked at the car a few years ago, I found that it had been replaced with E260. The numbers were higher, so it should be more advanced. Unfortunately, the E?coupe didn't have a test drive, so I tried the E260L. I have to say that this 1.5T plus 48v power system really has no features at all. It has no impression at all. It feels worse than the E200 I tested before. So, after thinking about it, I decided not to buy the 260. I asked the salesperson if they had an E300 coupe, and the answer was, no. Okay, give up, plus 2 doors are really inconvenient, so I have to consider something else.

At this point, I haven’t considered the CLS yet. ?After that, I test-drove the E300L and 530Li, and I have to say that BMW has almost crushed Mercedes-Benz in this class. Whether it is acceleration, sound insulation, chassis comfort, gearbox response, or interior craftsmanship, it is all ahead of Mercedes-Benz. ?However, I don’t like cars that are too popular in my heart, so these two very popular cars were also excluded. ?Although I don’t like cars that are too Volkswagen, I still went to see Volkswagen cars. On the recommendation of my colleagues, I went to see the Touareg. It doesn’t matter after this, I’m done! The 2.0T is tens of thousands more expensive than the top models of the 530 and E300. But that is different. Medium and large SUVs, which are said to be very powerful platforms, include Cayenne, Q7, Urus, etc., and maybe Bentayga. The 2.0T high-end version comes with air suspension, a head-up display, ventilated seats, a full LCD instrument panel and a 15-inch large screen. It’s really nice! Then I took a test drive and it felt really good. ZF's 8AT shifted gears quickly and neatly, and even the 2.0T didn't feel fat. I almost decided to buy a Touareg, but when I was deciding, I casually asked the salesperson if I could test drive a 3.0T. Damn it, even though I bought a CLS, I still say that the Touareg 3.0T is an almost perfect car, except car logo. The feeling of power, the driving quality, and the noise isolation are beyond repair! Forgive me for not driving a good car. Well, there were two reasons why I didn’t choose him in the end. One was the car’s logo, and the other was that I already had a 7-seater at home, so I decided to buy a sedan.

Now that we've seen the Touareg 3.0T, let's go for a sedan with the same price range. This is when CLS comes on the scene, because the price point has arrived. At the same time, 630GT also appears, CLS300 Dynamic and 630GT ?M movement, the landing price is almost the same. I also test-drove the 630GT, and I have to praise BMW. Basically, all cars that are not particularly special have test drives. This is not the case with Mercedes-Benz. There are no test drives for C, E? Coupe, and CLS. Maybe I didn't find it. Let’s talk about BMW’s cars again, and the 630GT is really good. Apart from its slightly awkward appearance, it needs space, power, and comfort. A few more words, the 6 Series is the 6 Series, and the overall experience is better than the 5 Series. The speed is better than that of the 5 Series, and the chassis is more complete and advanced than the 5 Series. It really doesn't cost money.

Okay, having said all that, why did I choose CLS in the end, and there was still no test drive? The main reasons why I bought it are as follows: 1. The real car is really handsome, it is really more handsome than the picture! ?2. There are 7 seats at home, so we don’t need so much space? 3. Men still need to own a Mercedes-Benz? 4. The interior is also what attracts me? So, I chose CLS, and for the high-end keyless entry, 360 Panoramic view, electric trunk, Little Berlin, I chose 300 luxury. Unfortunately there are no geometric multi-beam headlights. Why not choose 350? Mainly because I don’t have money, and secondly because I don’t have a car.

?Okay, let’s focus on the driving experience of these 400 kilometers. Let’s make a simple comparison first. ?1. Compared with the 630GT, it basically loses in all aspects. The only thing is that the performance may be slightly higher. The chassis integrity is not as good as the 630, the comfort is not as good as the 630, the space is not as good as the 630, and the steering wheel direction may be about the same. After all, the 630 is just a test drive, and the direction is not deep. Needless to say, the sound insulation is superior to that of the 630. Sitting in the cockpit, the 630 can hardly hear the engine sound, but the CLS can hear the clicking sound, and the 630 feels quiet when driving. Let's talk about two points that may be considered the good points of CLS. The road feel is better than that of 630, which means that you can feel more road information from the chassis and steering wheel. The second point is that the acceleration sound of the CLS sounds better in the cockpit. I can’t tell whether it’s the engine or the exhaust. It’s just that the CLS feels like it wants you to drive fast, while the 630 feels more like it wants you to drive like a Buddha. . ?2. Compared with our own E300L, it feels obviously more advanced. The difference between imported and domestically produced, CLS is better than E300L in all aspects, whether it is chassis or interior. To be honest, the mileage of the E300L I test drove is not much, but the interior There are quite a few strange noises. . The chassis also feels looser than the CLS. I don’t know the reason for extending the wheelbase. ?Finally, let’s talk about CLS itself. It’s just random talk without logic and rules, just say whatever comes to mind. ?First of all, I feel the direction is very accurate. I can merge, turn, and turn at will. It feels like the front of the car will move in any direction. Well, the car follows your heart, that's it. Moreover, the turning radius of this car is very small, making it very convenient to turn around. ?Second, the chassis should be considered high-end, relatively neat, soft at the front and hard at the rear. The front and rear mentioned here are not the front and rear wheels, but the soft initial section of the shock absorber and the hard rear section. In other words, it is very comfortable to go over small bumps, but there are small bumps. It's time to slow down. I understand that this setting is to improve the support of the car body while ensuring a certain level of comfort. I think this chassis is on the same level as the 530, better than the E300. Speaking of a small flaw, the front and rear shock absorption of this car feels slightly different. The front suspension responds quickly and rebounds quickly after compression, but the rear suspension feels a little slower in rebounding. This can be clearly felt when crossing some deep ditches. If stiffness is not a drawback, then this is the only small flaw that I think affects the integrity of the chassis. ?Third, let’s talk about the Mercedes-Benz 9AT. First of all, it is worthy of recognition that it is very economical and can always maintain a relatively low speed to provide relatively low fuel consumption. This may be its greatest advantage. I’m going to complain about it later. The sluggishness in shifting mainly occurs in low gears, that is to say, 234. Whether the accelerator is pressed deeper or shallower, you can feel the sluggishness after 234. I guess this is a common problem. Then the gear shifting speed is not so sharp, obviously not as good as BMW's 8AT, and not as good as the dual-clutch in my impression. Because it is still in the running-in period, I have not tried the downshifting of floor oil. I can talk about this later. In short, there isn’t much to say about this gearbox except that it has more gears. ?Fourth, the sound insulation effect, because I have never driven a very high-end car, I think it is acceptable. Although there is engine noise at idle speed and tire noise at high speed, I think it is not unacceptable. One thing can be said, the noise isolation of CLS is not as good as that of 630GT, 530 and E300L. In addition, the frameless doors do produce a small amount of wind noise at high speeds, but it is not a big problem. ?Fifth, the workmanship of the interior. I always believe that the workmanship of imported cars is better than that of domestic cars. At present, the assembly process of the interior is good, with no obvious flaws or abnormal noises. This requires longer testing. But they say that Mercedes-Benz can't make abnormal noises. Let's wait and see. I am a person who is relatively sensitive to abnormal noise. ?Sixth, regarding power, the new car has not dared to pedal hard, so I won’t comment much. The reviews say it is not bad and can meet the requirements of ordinary people. However, I heard that you need to add No. 98 oil to fully utilize the strength of this engine. This needs to be verified. ?Finally, about appearance. Just handsome! Looks cool! The interior is handsome!
