What does irony mean?

1) Expose, criticize or laugh at people or things with metaphor and exaggeration.

2) Satire is a literary technique used to expose the contradictions or shortcomings of the object.

The word "satire" has already appeared in Sui Shu in the Tang Dynasty, and it is also mentioned in Gao Pian's poem "Huang Ma's disease in the first words, sending monks to meet friends" included in The Whole Tang Poetry.
