Classic eight-character couplets

According to legend, the couplets originated from Meng Chang, the Lord of Shu after the Five Dynasties. They are a cultural treasure of the Chinese nation. The couplets hung during the Spring Festival are called Spring Festival couplets. Below are the eight-character couplets I compiled for everyone to enjoy.

(1) The aura of outstanding people strengthens the world; the splendor of things and the treasures of spring fill the five lakes.

(2) The people’s army is invincible; the Great Steel Wall is indestructible.

(3) The people’s public servants are dedicated to their work; the Chinese nation is determined to rejuvenate the country.
