What are the fun places in Wuhan?

I studied in university in Wuhan, so I am relatively familiar with Wuhan. It is said that there is nothing interesting in Wuhan, but if you don’t go to see the East Lake and Yellow Crane Tower, but look for the tranquility hidden in the bustling city, you will find that Wuhan is still very interesting. So, I thought of writing down the places I have been to, plus the interesting people and things I met on the way, as a reference for everyone, or just for entertainment.

I go to most of these places alone. It’s not that I don’t want to go with others. The point is that the places I go to are too weird and no one wants to go with my crazy person! However, gradually I really like walking alone. Only through this kind of walking can I truly find my inner peace.

Okay, enough chatting, let’s get started! Where to start? Let’s go from near to far, the nearest one is:

1. Made in Hanyang

In a word, it is a place for art. Because there really isn’t much fun, it’s all about art and culture, so it’s best to take a SLR to take photos in various settings. People taking artistic photos and wedding photos can be seen everywhere on the boulevards and lawns.

Really literary and artistic. The graffiti walls are full of high-end paintings. It should be a very good paint, and it still looks very clear after being exposed to wind and rain for so long. Then the architecture here is also very artistic, either retro or fashionable. Moreover, it turns out that most of the buildings here are companies! In front of an ancient-looking courtyard, there was a small sign, "××Company". I couldn't help but be surprised that there was a screen in this courtyard! I really want to work in such a good environment.

Speaking of fun things, there is a 4D painting exhibition here. I don’t remember how much the tickets were. There is really nothing else to play with. You can walk around for an hour and then leave. Moreover, this place is quite remote, and those high-end large restaurants are not dared to enter. Finally, I was lucky to find a normal shop, but it turned out that it was the canteen of my company! There is something special about having a work meal.

2. Hubu Lane

Every student in Wuhan should have been to this place. What I want to say is, don’t go alone! !

I went alone. So, I can’t eat all the dishes like my mother-in-law’s stewed meat, and I can’t finish them all by myself!

They say this place is a trap. Maybe I have stayed in a lot of traps, so I think this place is not bad. There are indeed many snacks that cannot be bought elsewhere. For example, Crispy Cream Banana and Mrs. Xu’s Paste Soup Noodles are all delicious and unique items that you really can’t eat anywhere else in Wuhan. My favorite is Mrs. Xu’s soup noodle soup, which costs 5 yuan a bowl. Many people eat it with fried dough sticks; the crispy cream banana and BT chicken wings are just so-so, and the chicken wings are almost the same as ordinary chicken wings; I actually want to try the grilled bullfrog. But it really looked too scary, and I didn’t dare to eat it. I also wondered why I dared to eat fish but not frogs; and what I resented the most was the sugar-oiled daddy. I have been thinking about it since I ate it in Changsha, but here It doesn’t taste like Changsha at all.

As for the price, it is indeed a bit more expensive than outside. There is an example to prove it - Huiji Zhajiang Noodles has two pieces of mung bean ice, while the one here is exactly the same, three pieces. But overall it's fine. After all, it’s food, and it only costs a few dollars.

Similarly, Hubu Alley is also very short. Unless you take a long time to eat, an hour and a half is enough to finish the walk.

After coming out of Hubu Lane, there are many specialty stores on that street, such as Smith Barney and Daphne. After all, it is Simenmen, and it is also a lively place.

Then I discovered a place called Holidayland Mall. When I walked in and took a look, I found that it was not a large shopping mall like Yamao. There were no big brand stores in it. It was just small clothing stores and boutiques with not many customers. But it reminds me of the empty and dilapidated stores on the first floor of Future City. Those stores should have been like this before.

3. Hubei Provincial Library

Why did I go there? By the way, I took the bus from Hubu Lane to Han Street, and then passed by here. When I saw the grand appearance of the library, I jumped off the bus.

The best thing about the Biwu Library here is that you can go in and read as many books as you like without a reader's card, as long as you don't borrow books. I originally thought that the library of Wuhan University was awesome, but it has everything that Wuhan University has, and it also has everything that Wuhan University doesn’t have. More luxurious and more functional, for sure. But the key thing is that the breath feels different.

Here, there are more different people, allowing me to see different libraries.

It’s not just the students who are learning knowledge, the uncles who have gained weight, the aunts who have wrinkles, and the grandfathers with gray temples are also reading books and newspapers here. When I saw three little boys discussing their homework around the table, when I saw the grandfather looking up information in the electronic lending room, when I saw parents taking their children to look for books together, I couldn't help but be moved. These are things you can’t usually see in the youthful Wuhan University Library.

The reader's card is also easy to apply for. You can apply for it by yourself with a deposit of 100 yuan and an ID card. The reader's card is valid for 30 years, and it seems that you can borrow 4 books or DVDs at a time.

As mentioned earlier, it has all the functions of Wuhan University Library, such as academic lecture halls, lectures and so on, which are held regularly. I saw the release posters for "Roman Holiday" and "Breakfast at Tiffany's" at the door.

I originally wanted to get a reader's card, but after thinking about it, I can't even finish reading all the books in Wuhan University. It's better to come here when you're no longer in school.

4. Han Street

Since Han Street has been mentioned, let’s also talk about Han Street. Han Street is called the modern Qingming Riverside Scene by developers. Although it's not that magical, it's still interesting.

There are three large blocks here, with a wide range of places to eat and shop. But it looks very high-end, and many people come here just to see the scenery, the luxurious streets, Zhaojun Square, Quyuan Square and so on.

It started to rain while I was shopping, so I didn’t do much shopping, but I’ll probably come back again.

It’s just a direct bus ride from the street entrance to Hanjie, but I came from Hubu Lane, and with the ridiculous SOSO map, it was a pain to find Hanjie.

I followed the instructions on the SOSO map and walked in the direction it pointed. Then he even traveled through a private house! You can save a lot of time by entering from one door and exiting from the other. I really admire that the SOSO map can even point out such a road. However, the environment of this community is good, the greening is very good, and a large group of uncles and aunts are enjoying the shade in the yard.

Then, after walking for who knows how long, the SOSO map told me that there were still 2.7 kilometers away from Han Street. When I mustered up the courage to get ready, I looked up and saw the buildings on Han Street across the road! ! Damn, how long are you going to lie to me? ! I decisively turned off the map and walked over directly. Then with the help of kind-hearted uncles and aunties, we found the commercial street of Han Street.

The scenery is normal. The most interesting thing was meeting a couple. The boy was holding a SLR and the girl was holding a mobile phone. They were both taking pictures of things in the window. Then I heard the boy say to the girl, "Turn around." Then he took pictures of the girl, and then The girl also held a camera and pointed it at the boy, and the two took pictures of each other. What a love scene, but they don’t know that the mantis stalks the cicada and the oriole is behind, hahaha! I took the opportunity to take pictures of them.

Then it started to rain. For someone like me who has experienced walking alone in lightning, thunder and violent storms many times, this little rain was nothing. Then I calmly sat on a chair on the street and watched the rain.

The rain has stopped and I don’t want to go shopping anymore. Ready to go back. But if you can’t find a subway station, you’ll want to take the next best option, including taking the bus.

Then I saw a building under construction next to the bus station. The slogan on it was "China's only seven-star hotel - inspired by diamonds." Anyway, I can't see how it looks like a diamond now. . .
