On August 20th, 20021year, the 30th meeting of the 13th the National People's Congress Standing Committee (NPCSC) voted to pass the Law on Doctors in People's Republic of China (PRC). The new physician law will take effect on March 1 2022. The Law of People's Republic of China (PRC) on Medical Practitioners shall be abolished at the same time. The new "Physician Law" consists of 7 chapters and 67 articles, which will provide an effective way to protect the legitimate rights and interests of doctors, standardize their practice behavior, strengthen the construction of doctors, safeguard people's health and implement the strategy of healthy China.

In order to protect people's health, standardize the practice of doctors, safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of doctors and the public, and promote the construction of a healthy China, the Law of People's Republic of China (PRC) on Doctors is formulated. On August 20th, 2002/kloc-0, the 30th session of the 13th the National People's Congress Standing Committee (NPCSC) voted to pass the Law on Doctors in People's Republic of China (PRC), which came into effect on March 20th, 2022.
