Men are strictly prohibited from entering the girls' dormitory. If there are already a large number of girls staying in the dormitory, no matter how much luggage there is, male parents are not allowed to enter to help.

The condition of Bauhinia Apartment is very good. Undergraduate students share a room with four persons, and doctoral students share a room with two persons. I will mainly introduce undergraduate dormitories here. Every two rooms are connected by a living room in the middle. The room is very spacious and bright, with standard apartment facilities. Each student has a bed on top, and a desk below, where a computer can be placed. There is a network port under the desk, and you can use the campus network to get out of school. The network speed is very fast. After all, Tsinghua is an education network. The main station has a fixed IP and charges ￥6.5 per month. It is not charged based on traffic, but if you go abroad, it will be charged based on traffic, ￥1.00/MB. Of course, you can use an agent to go abroad for free.

The apartments are equipped with telephones, which Tietong has a monopoly on, but calls between Bauhinia apartments are free. You can rent TV sets and air conditioners from the school yourself. You have to pay for the electricity in the dormitory by yourself. If the electricity runs out, you have to pay to recharge it. However, the school distributes 60 kilowatt-hours of free electricity to each student every semester. There is a public microwave on the first floor of the dormitory, where you can heat burgers, pop popcorn, etc. for late night snacks. Each building has a building manager, who mainly answers phone calls, distributes newspapers, and occasionally patrols in the building manager's room. IC card access control is implemented for entry and exit. Only students in this building can enter by swiping the card.

Tsinghua University has five types of dormitories. 1. Undergraduate dormitory, four people live in one room. It is a newly built Bauhinia apartment building.
