Ji Xiang Temple Introduction: Ji Xiang Temple is located in Shenhe Garden, southwest of Qu Wei Town, Chang 'an District. It is the ancestral temple of China Pure Land Sect. It was built to commemorate the famous monk who was a good guide in the Tang Dynasty, and Ji Xiang Temple and the tower for supporting the good guide were built, making Ji Xiang Temple the first Dojo after the formal establishment of the Pure Land Sect in China. It is called Ji Xiang Temple, which means comparing a good guide to a fragrant Buddha.

In Ji Xiang Temple, there is a good guide tower built in the Tang Dynasty, which is made of blue bricks, with a wall thickness of two meters and a square plane, and is a wood-like structure. The top of the tower was damaged by age. There are 12 saddle-shaped ancient buddhas around the tower, which are beautifully carved. There are doors on all sides of the tower foundation, and the diamond sutra is engraved in regular script, with elegant handwriting and vigorous brushwork.

Today, Ji Xiang Temple has become a witness to the religious and cultural exchanges between China and Japan. The Shandao Tower in the Tang Dynasty has been renovated, and there is a wooden ladder leading to the top of the tower. In the newly-built hall, there are tables, five offerings, copper and wooden fish donated by Japanese friends, and stone lamps donated by them are placed in front of the hall.
