Joining the army process:

1. Online registration: Before August 5 every year, male college students (including students and fresh graduates) who are interested in enlisting can log in to the National Recruitment Network (website:), fill in their basic personal information, and download and print the Registration Form of College Students Pre-enlisted Objects after successful registration. In line with the national tuition funding conditions, you should also download and print the "Application Form for National Student Loan Compensation for College Students' Enrollment Tuition".

2. Preliminary examination: Before leaving school or having a holiday, college students should bring their ID cards (household registration books) and graduation certificates (college students hold student ID cards) to participate in the preliminary examination organized by the military service organs at the county level where the school is located at the specified time. Students who are determined to be pre-enlisted will receive the registration form and application form audited and sealed by the military service organs and relevant departments of the school.

3. Physical examination and political examination: College students can join the army at the school or their pre-school domicile and habitual residence. After the start of conscription, the military service organ in the enlistment area shall inform the college students of the specific time and place of physical examination. The notice requires that college students can take their ID card (household registration book), graduation certificate (college students hold student ID card), audited and stamped registration form and registration form to directly participate in the physical examination organized by the county-level conscription office where they join the army, and the local public security, education and other departments will conduct political examination simultaneously.

4. Interview and inspection: Those who pass the political examination and physical examination will be notified by the county-level conscription office to the grassroots people's armed forces department of the township (town, street) where the college students are located and arranged to visit and inspect.

5. Scheduled recruits: The county-level conscription office will comprehensively weigh those who have passed the medical examination and political examination, and determine the candidates to be approved for enlistment. Under the same conditions, fresh graduates with high academic qualifications will be given priority as scheduled employees.

6. Posting publicity: The list of persons to be hired is posted in counties (cities, districts) and townships (towns, streets) and is subject to supervision by the masses. The publicity time will be no less than 5 days.

7. Approved enlistment: Those who pass the physical examination and political examination will be officially approved by the county-level conscription office after publicity, and a notice of enlistment will be issued. Students cancel their registered permanent residence with the Notice of Enlistment, enjoy preferential treatment for conscripts, wait for handover and departure, and transport them to the army for service.
