It was learned from the Jilin Provincial Department of Transportation that as of the morning of the same day, all the provincial boundary checkpoints of Jilin Province Expressway 13 had been cancelled, and all the 65 closed expressway toll stations had been opened to ensure the normal passage of personnel and materials for COVID-19 epidemic prevention and control.

On February 8th, the General Office of Jilin Provincial Government issued a notice, demanding that the epidemic prevention and control and traffic security work should be done well according to the the State Council plan, so as to ensure the smooth road network and the normal passage of people and vehicles. The circular calls for resolutely correcting the phenomenon of unauthorized closure of highway entrances and exits, hard isolation or artificial blockage of national and provincial trunk highways and rural highways, maintaining the normal operation order of the economy and society, and effectively and orderly doing a good job in epidemic prevention and control and transportation security.

It is understood that Jilin Province has included all kinds of emergency materials, living materials, key production materials, medical rescue and prevention and control personnel into the scope of emergency transportation support. In accordance with the "three noes and one priority" requirements of the Ministry of Transport, such as no parking, no inspection, no charge and priority access, a green passage will be opened to ensure the smooth flow of emergency transport vehicles. The notice also requires that the prevention and control of transportation epidemics be effectively strengthened. It is necessary to do a good job in passenger temperature detection, strictly observe the red line of 37.3℃, control the passenger load rate below 50%, and arrange passengers to ride alone and separately.
