How to apply for ICP filing

Take Alibaba ICP filing as an example. After purchasing an Alibaba Cloud server and logging into the Alibaba Cloud ICP filing management system, the filing process is as follows:

1. Fill in the information to determine the filing type: fill in the sponsor Unit information, website and other information, the system will automatically determine the type of filing you want to handle based on the information you fill in.

2. Product verification: Verify the cloud server used to build the registration website.

3. Fill in the subject and website information: fill in the website information and the true information of the individual or unit handling the filing.

4. Upload information: Upload photos or color scans of your ID as required.

5. Photo verification: Upload the photo of the person in charge of the website as required.

6. SMS verification (not required): Currently, only Tianjin, Gansu, Tibet, Ningxia, Hainan, Xinjiang, Qinghai, Zhejiang, Sichuan, Fujian, Shaanxi, Chongqing, Guangxi, Yunnan, Shandong, and Henan Users in , Anhui, Hunan, Shanxi, Heilongjiang, Inner Mongolia, and Hubei provinces and cities need to complete mobile phone number SMS verification. After SMS verification, the filing application can be successfully submitted to the management bureau for review.

The top-level domain name of the domain name has been approved by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.

The domain name is within the registration validity period.

The domain name registration service agency has been approved by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.

The registrant of a personal domain name should be the person in charge, and the registrant of an organizational domain name should be the unit (including company shareholders), the principal person in charge of the unit, or a senior manager.

The registered domain name of the website has passed the real-name authentication. The registration subject information reported when applying for registration should be consistent with the real-name authentication information of the domain name registrant (domain name holder). Comparison information: name, ID type, ID number.

2. Upload clear photos or color scans of the originals of the following materials.

Required materials: identity document; "Website Registration Authenticity Verification Form".

Other materials: Other supporting materials required by the local administration’s filing rules, such as domain name certificates, etc. Pay attention to the prompts on your filing page and upload the corresponding information according to the prompts.
