Expose the credit card scam and see what you have been taken in.

The theft of credit cards happens from time to time, and the superb scam set by scammers is hard to prevent. In order to prevent people from being deceived, I have specially sorted out some fraud methods commonly used by scammers. Let's look at them and see if you have been cheated.

1. "Deduct the annual credit card fee" scam message

It usually happens at the end of the year. In many places, criminals commit telecom fraud on the grounds of "deducting the annual credit card fee". Criminals send text messages to cardholders, falsely claiming that their credit cards will be charged an annual fee at the end of the year, and provide contact numbers to trick cardholders into making calls. Once the cardholder makes a call, the criminals pretend to be a bank or a policeman, and do everything possible to induce the cardholder to provide the cardholder's credit card number, password, expiration date, security code, etc. With this information, they can easily malicious overdraft card friends' credit cards.

I would like to remind you that the annual fee is not paid at the end of the year, but is calculated from the next card month. You can refer to the expiration date on the card face. Generally speaking, the annual fee is paid in the current month.

Second, the "95588" scam message may not be ICBC but a liar.

If you receive a text message from 95588, card friends should be on their guard. It may not be sent by ICBC, but a trap set by a liar for credit card holders through the number change software! A card friend mistakenly thought it was a short message sent by ICBC and clicked on the link in the short message-"phishing website" as instructed. As a result, the credit card was maliciously overdrawn

I remind: 95588 here is just an example. In reality, any bank phone can be impersonated. Banks will not ask cardholders to enter personal information such as passwords because of the upgrade or transformation of their own systems, nor will they ask you to conduct simulated transactions. Once you receive such information, you should contact the bank for confirmation in time.

Third, fraudulent advertisements that help increase the amount.

Many card friends are worried that their credit card limit is not high. When they see advertisements on the internet or on the street to help increase the amount, they contact each other and make several virtual transactions online as required. I don't know that during the transaction, the card number, expiration date, password, anti-counterfeiting code and other information of the credit card have been known by criminals.

My comment: In view of this new type of fraud, it is suggested that cardholders should not leave their credit card number, mobile phone number and three digits on the back (CVV2 authorization code) on any website at will. The cardholder does not need to enter any bank withdrawal information. Once you need such information, please be careful not to be cheated.

Fourth, free WIFI may be a trap for stealing secrets.

Free WIFI can be found in many places now. If you log in to the credit card online banking after linking this WIFI, it is likely to be a malicious overdraft. It is understood that this kind of wireless network is set up by hackers and appears in shopping places such as shopping malls. If the cardholder logs into the mobile phone credit card in this network environment, it is easy for hackers to steal the credit card account and password.

I remind: Credit card online banking should be logged in in a safe environment. Don't use free WIFI casually, don't be greedy for a moment, and just enter free WIFI from unknown sources.

Fifth, the return and change of air tickets has also become a new trick of fraud.

"Your flight has been delayed, and your ticket needs to be changed. Please call 400 ... in time. " If you receive such information, card friends should pay attention, and don't easily disclose their credit card number, expiration date, verification code and other information, because this is likely to be a scam message.

It is understood that the fraud gang sneaked into the civil aviation system through hacking technology, obtained the information of the ticket holder, and then sent information for fraud. After the victim re-purchases the ticket successfully, he will design a pop-up dialog box and fill in the verification code. In fact, the verification code has been changed to the transfer function by them. Once the victim enters the verification code and then the online banking password, all the money in the victim's bank card will be transferred to their card.

I remind: protect your credit card information, and don't tell others your card information under any circumstances, including credit card number, expiration date, security code (3 digits on the back of the card) and so on.

Sixth, there are problems with online shopping and express delivery. The fake police asked you to report information.

The lifestyle of online shopping has made criminals smell "business opportunities". If the courier company calls and says that there is something wrong with the courier of the credit card holder, it will investigate. Then soon, the phone call that claimed to be a policeman came. The fake policeman told the victim: "In order to ensure the normal flow of your funds, please follow my instructions." Card friends must not be fooled, this is definitely fraud.

I would like to remind you that the telephones of postal services, banks, telecommunications and public security organs all have their own platforms, and they are different systems, so it is impossible to directly transfer them to each other. Card friends can call local 1 10 for consultation or alarm.

Most of the 7400 calls are fraud.

Generally speaking, the "400" hotline of regular large enterprises only serves as the called party, not as the calling party. Government agencies will not use the "400" telephone as a service hotline, so if card friends see the number starting with "400", more than 90% will call, either advertising or fraud!

I remind card friends to remember the five anti-fraud books: 1. Don't blindly believe; 2. ignore it; 3. Do not disclose personal information; 4. No remittance transfer; 5. Don't make your own decisions.
