Will the court inform the court by text message?

Legal analysis: only with the written consent of the parties, will SMS be adopted. Before the court session, the notice of hearing will be served in writing. Under normal circumstances, the trial will not be notified by SMS. The court may notify the parties concerned by means of short message, telephone or fax in cases that are tried by summary procedure.

Legal basis: Article 87 of the Civil Procedure Law of People's Republic of China (PRC), with the consent of the addressee, the people's court may serve litigation documents by fax, e-mail and other means that can confirm receipt, except for judgments, rulings and conciliation statements. If it is delivered by the way mentioned in the preceding paragraph, the date when it reaches the addressee's specific system by fax or e-mail shall be the date of delivery.
