At the same time, all kinds of resistance followed, accusations, insults and threats followed, but Wang Ying remained calm and encouraged front-line case handlers. The doctor diagnosed that she could only live for half a year at most. However, Wang Ying frankly faced his illness and misfortune, refused the kindness of the superior organization to change jobs, and devoted himself to his work with double sincerity and enthusiasm. In the next two years and four months, except for 10 chemotherapy, she worked in the front line and spent 194 days at the scene of flood fighting, earthquake relief and case investigation.

On May 12, 2008, Wenchuan earthquake happened. Wang Ying, who was receiving chemotherapy in Chongqing, interrupted treatment and bumped back to Nanjiang for more than 500 kilometers. He immediately led the county disciplinary Committee cadres to the front line of disaster relief to ensure that the national disaster relief funds and materials were distributed in place.

From June 5, 2008 to 10, Wang Ying died unfortunately on the way to the hospital for treatment due to overwork and deterioration of her condition.
