Typhoon warning signals are divided into five types: white, green, yellow, red and black.

White typhoon signal. It means that tropical cyclones may affect the local area within 48 hours.

Green typhoon signal. Its meaning is: the local area may be affected by tropical cyclones in the next 24 hours, and the average wind force can reach 6 ~ 7 (39 ~ 61km/h); Or have been affected by tropical cyclones, with an average wind force of 6-7.

Yellow typhoon signal. Its meaning is: the local area may be affected by tropical cyclones in the future 12 hours, and the average wind power can reach more than 8 (62 ~ 74 km/h); Or have been affected by tropical cyclones, with an average wind force of 8-9 (62-88 km/h).

Red typhoon signal. It means that the local area is affected by tropical cyclones, and the average wind power will reach10 (89 ~102 km/h) in the future 12 hours; Or it has been affected by tropical cyclones, and the average wind force is10 ~1(89 ~117 km/h). When the red signal is issued, primary and secondary schools and kindergartens will automatically suspend classes.

Black typhoon signal. It means that tropical cyclones will land locally or nearby in the next 12 hours, and the average wind force will be above12 (118 ~133km/h); Or have been affected by tropical cyclones, and the average wind force 12 is above.
