Announcement on the management of tenants (landlords) and housing agencies

In order to prevent and control the epidemic and protect people’s life safety and health, tenants (landlords) and housing agencies will now be managed The relevant matters related to agency management are announced as follows:

1. Tenants (landlords) and housing agencies are the first persons responsible for the prevention and control of the epidemic in rental housing, and they should immediately report the tenant’s information to the community where the rental house is located ( Please see the attachment for the form).

2. The lessor (landlord) and housing agency shall immediately notify the lessee that if the lessee is still out of town, advise him to return to Hangzhou after 24:00 on February 9, 2020 (the sixteenth day of the first lunar month); People from areas with severe epidemics (see daily news release) are advised not to return to Hangzhou in the near future. For those who have recently returned to Hangzhou, the lessor (landlord) and housing agency will be responsible for assisting the community in implementing home medical observation measures.

3. Tenants (landlords) and housing agencies must actively cooperate with local streets and communities to implement epidemic prevention and control measures, and strengthen publicity and education for tenants who have not left Hangzhou. If tenants are found to have fever, respiratory discomfort and other symptoms, they are immediately advised to take precautions and seek medical treatment at a medical institution.

4. If the above requirements are not implemented, resulting in adverse consequences, the "Law of the People's Republic of China on the Prevention and Control of Infectious Diseases", "Public Health Emergency Regulations", etc. Relevant laws and regulations stipulate that tenants (landlords) and housing agencies shall be held accountable for their civil and criminal responsibilities in accordance with the law.
