How to report a health care product scam

If you are cheated in buying health care products, you can report it to the public security bureau. If the health food is unqualified or fake, you can call the food and drug complaint hotline 1233 1 and report to the local food and drug administration. After investigation and handling by the Food and Drug Administration, if it is found to be unqualified or fake, it will be detained. If the circumstances are serious, the Food and Drug Administration will transfer it to the public security organ for handling. If you leave the business card, telephone number and micro-signal of the salesman, you should keep it properly; If there is communication through WeChat or SMS, the relevant WeChat records and SMS exchanges will be backed up and saved on a USB flash drive, mobile hard disk or cloud disk in the form of screenshots, and the original WeChat records and SMS exchange mobile phones will be properly preserved.

I. Conditions for the protection of consumers' rights and interests:

1. The plaintiff is a citizen, legal person and other organization that has a direct interest in this case;

4. It belongs to the scope and jurisdiction of the people's court to accept civil litigation.

II. Procedures for protecting consumers' rights and interests:

1. After accepting the complaint, the company sends a forwarding form to the complained unit or competent department, with a complaint letter attached, requiring a reply within a certain period of time in accordance with relevant laws, regulations and policies.

2. For complaints with complicated contents and big disputes, the Consumers Association will directly or jointly handle them with relevant departments. If identification is needed, it shall be submitted to the relevant legal appraisal department for identification, and a written appraisal conclusion shall be issued. The expenses required for the appraisal are generally borne by the responsible party of the appraisal conclusion.

3. Important complaints involving a wide range, endangering consumers' rights and interests or seriously damaging consumers' rights and interests will be reflected to the government or relevant departments in time, exposed and criticized through mass media, and investigated and dealt with in cooperation with relevant functional departments.

Legal basis: Article 110 of the Criminal Procedure Law of People's Republic of China (PRC). Any unit or individual who discovers criminal facts or suspects has the right and obligation to report to the public security organ, the people's procuratorate or the people's court. Victims have the right to report and accuse criminal facts or criminal suspects who infringe their personal and property rights to public security organs, people's procuratorates or people's courts.
