A course of painting with oil pastels

The course of oil pastel painting is as follows:

1. First, select a few colors of flowers you want, cut a little with a scraper (too much will be wasted), and repeatedly crush them with the back of the scraper to make them soft and waxy.

2. Start drawing from the center of the flower heart, and take two darker colors from the back of the scraper at the same time, one on the left and one on the right, and stack them into a caring shape, which is the flower heart. Then, the petals are stacked on both sides in the order of one on the left and one on the right. Choosing two colors at the same time will naturally form a change of depth.

3. Left and right, above and below, continue to overlap petals in circles, and pay attention to maintaining the overall shape of flowers.

4. Tick the overlapping relationship of petals with a scraper.

5. Draw the second flower in the same way.

6. Add branches and leaves. The receptacle under the flower is scraped with a scraper and painted with an oil painting stick, and the others are directly hooked out with an oil painting stick. Add a small flower bud on the left, and draw it directly with a scraper to get an oil painting stick. Pay attention to the bending of the branches and try to draw more beautifully than me.

7. Add the bright part of the leaves with a lighter green color.

8. Use a soft-headed xiuli pen to rest the details of leaves and branches. If there is no xiuli pen, use an oil pastel to cut out an edge and then draw the details.
