How do you say Japanese short messages in English?

As I said before, when it comes to children, I am very confused.

But in the end, I felt that my situation was not understood, pretending to be indifferent and irrelevant.

(It is true that the last sentence is not easy to translate. The literal translation of chasing ぃぅふりする should be pretending to be expelled/driven away. )
