Is China Telecom Locating the COVID-19 Epidemic?

The first phase of the nationwide precision epidemic prevention big data platform independently developed by China Telecom was officially launched a few days ago, which provided more accurate technical assistance for the traceability of the national epidemic prevention and control journey. It is reported that the big data platform is built by Hubei Industrial Digital R&D Center relying on the precise positioning capability of China Telecom, and has three core functions: comprehensive overview of epidemic situation, accurate acquisition of epidemic prevention short messages and accurate statistics of intelligent operation data. At present, the platform is co-ordinated by the Government and Enterprise Department of the Group, promoting products in health care industry and doing pilot projects in Guangzhou. China Telecom will continue to deepen the standard construction of big data platform for precision epidemic prevention, empower the national health care industry and contribute to the national epidemic prevention and control.
