It's like two of your best friends quarreling. If you take sides with the other side, they will definitely not settle. When your parents quarrel, I have three suggestions.

The first point. Keep silent, because you are still a child anyway, and the contradiction between them is solved by the two of them. Too much interference will backfire.

The second point. When they quarrel, you can say: all I want is a warm family. You quarrel every day, and this family can hardly hold on. I feel this method is very effective. Parents will care about their children, so they may stop the "war" for their own benefit.

Third, do Monday morning quarterback. They are still angry with each other after their quarrel, and then you can comfort them alone. You can say to your mother: although my father did something wrong, he is not bad in any way. Be sure to talk to him another day and ask him to correct me. Then go to the other side and say the same thing. This method is to go first, tell his shortcomings, and then mention his advantages, first arouse the other side's * * * and then put forward the advantages in the opportunity.
