The selection of full-time people's armed cadres, militia cadres, graduates of ordinary colleges and universities and personnel from non-military departments as reserve officers shall be reported to the military organs at higher levels for approval and registration by the military service organs of the counties, autonomous counties, cities and municipal districts where their work units or their registered residences are located, and serve in the reserve of officers.
