According to the agreement between the two countries, personnel holding diplomatic and official passports of China and Cambodia are granted visa-free entry and stay for 3 days. Holders of China ordinary passports and official ordinary passports must apply for visas before entering the country. The visa application methods are as follows:

1. Visa application

(1) Visa on arrival. At airports and land ports, you can apply for a tourist visa (T visa, Tourist

Visa) and an OrdinaryVisa (E visa, ordinal visa) with a one-year, two-year, three-year multiple entry and a 3-day stay each time. The visa fee is subject to the announcement made by Cambodia at the port.

(2) The Cambodian embassies and consulates in China applied for a visa. Cambodian citizens who go to China with ordinary passports and official passports can also apply for a tourist visa and an ordinary visa in embassies and consulates in China, Cambodia, which are valid for three months and stay for 3 days. From September 1st, 217, China citizens can apply for one-,two-or three-year multiple-entry tourist visas and ordinary visas in embassies and consulates in China. Visa materials and fees shall be subject to the announcement of Cambodia and embassies and consulates in China.

(3) Electronic tourist visa. Citizens of China must log in to www.evisa.gov.kh and apply according to the website, which is valid for 9 days from the date of approval and can stay for 3 days after entry.

With a one-time entry business visa (E-visa), you can apply for a three-month, six-month and one-year multiple-entry business visa to the Cambodian Immigration Department by yourself or through a local travel agency. The visa stay period is the same as the visa validity period.

III. Entry and exit

When entering Cambodia, you must fill in the immigration card in advance. On June 1, 219, Cambodia launched a new version of immigration cards at all its entry and exit ports, merging the original visa application form, entry card and exit card into one, optimizing the contents to be filled in the original three cards, canceling the requirements of submitting documents and photos, and retaining the Chinese translation, which greatly simplified the entry and exit customs clearance procedures in Cambodia. If China citizens who come to Cambodia need to apply for visas on arrival, they can fill in the card item by item in capital letters as required, and then go through the entry formalities with the card, and there is no need to fill in other forms when leaving the country.

IV. Visa Type

Cambodian visa code:

Diplomatic visa (visa A): issued to diplomats of foreign diplomatic missions in Cambodia, their spouses and minor children.

official visa (visa b): issued to foreign citizens who are on official business in Cambodia.

business visa (e visa): issued to foreign citizens who come to Cambodia for short-term or long-term investment, business and labor services.

courtesy visa (c visa): issued to foreign citizens invited by Cambodian authorities to visit Cambodia.

tourist visa (t visa): issued to foreign citizens who come to Cambodia for tourism.

Long-term residence visa (K visa): issued to Cambodian citizens with foreign passports.

Free visa (G visa): issued to children under the age of 12.

II. Applying for Naturalization

The new Cambodian Nationality Law was signed by the King on June 21, 218 and came into effect. According to this law, the general ways for foreign citizens to acquire Cambodian nationality are as follows: (1) acquiring Cambodian nationality by birth. If one of the parents is Cambodian, their children can acquire Cambodian nationality; Newborns born in Cambodia can acquire Cambodian nationality.

(2) Obtaining Cambodian nationality through marriage. After obtaining a marriage certificate, you can apply for Cambodian citizenship if you have lived with your Cambodian spouse for three years and lived in Cambodia for more than one year. The minor children (under the age of 18) of foreigners who marry Cambodians can also apply for Cambodian citizenship together.

(3) Obtaining Cambodian nationality through investment. Foreigners who have actually invested in Cambodia and meet the standards of the Royal Government can apply for Cambodian citizenship, but they must meet the following conditions:

2. No criminal record.

3. Have lived in Cambodia for one year.

4. Have a permanent residence and residence permit in Cambodia.

5. Cambodian has certain listening, speaking and writing skills, knows some Cambodian history, and is willing to accept Cambodia's good traditions and customs.

6. Be healthy and mentally sound, and will not cause danger or burden to Cambodia.

(4) Obtaining Cambodian nationality through donation. Foreigners who provide financial assistance for Cambodia's social and economic development, or participate in Cambodia's charitable activities, who have made special contributions to Cambodia, can apply for Cambodian citizenship, but they must meet the following conditions:

1. Good conduct and morality.

2. No criminal record.

3. Have lived in Cambodia for 6 months.

4. Have a permanent residence and residence permit in Cambodia.

5. Be healthy and mentally sound, and will not cause danger and burden to Cambodia.

(5) Examination and approval procedures for entering Cambodia. Apply to the Royal Government of Cambodia, which will report to the King for approval. After being approved to join Cambodia, you must take the oath in Cambodia.

III. Work and Residence

According to the provisions of the Labor Law and the Immigration Law of Cambodia, all foreigners working in Cambodia must apply for the Work Permit for Foreigners and the Employment Permit for Foreigners from the Cambodian Ministry of Labor and Vocational Training or the provincial labor and vocational training bureaus. Foreigners must meet the following requirements when applying for the above two certificates:

(1) employers must have legal work permits in Cambodia;

(3) The foreigner applying must hold a valid passport;

(4) The foreigner applying must hold a valid residence permit;

The Cambodian immigration authorities have inspected foreigners working in Cambodia according to law, and found that foreigners who have not applied for the Alien Work Permit and the Alien Employment Permit or failed to extend the above two certificates in time will be fined or deported.
