The start time of the autumn semester for ordinary primary and secondary schools is according to the "Notice of the Yunnan Provincial Department of Education on Issuing the Teaching Calendar for Ordinary Primary and Secondary Schools in the 2020-2021 School Year" (Attachment ) is implemented; students in secondary vocational schools will register on August 31, 2020, and classes will begin on September 1.

According to the "Notice of the Yunnan Provincial Department of Education on Issuing the Teaching Calendar for Ordinary Primary and Secondary Schools in the 2020-2021 School Year":

1. Compulsory education students in grades 1-8

Register for the first semester on August 31, 2020, and start classes on September 1; winter vacation will be no later than January 23, 2021;

Register for the second semester on February 28, 2021. Classes will start on March 1, and summer vacation will begin no later than July 10, 2021.

2. Grade 9 students in compulsory education

The first semester will register on August 31, 2020, and classes will begin on September 1; winter vacation will be no later than January 30, 2021 ;

Registration for the second semester will be on February 28, 2021, and classes will begin on March 1.

3. First-year high school students

Register on September 6, 2020, and start class on September 7; winter vacation will be no later than February 6, 2021;

Registration for the second semester will be on February 28, 2021, classes will begin on March 1, and the summer vacation will be no later than July 24, 2021.

4. High school sophomores

Register on August 31, 2020, and start class on September 1; winter vacation will be no later than February 6, 2021;

The second semester of high school sophomore year will register on February 28, 2021, and classes will begin on March 1. The summer vacation will be no later than July 17, 2021.

5. Senior high school students

Register on August 31, 2020, and start class on September 1; winter vacation will be no later than February 6, 2021;

Registration for the second semester will be on February 28, 2021, and classes will begin on March 1
