How to change vehicle information

The method of changing vehicle information is as follows:

1, open traffic control 12 123APP. Click more on the home page, enter the business center, and find the option to change the contact information of motor vehicles;

2. Click Query on the interface of changing the contact information of motor vehicles, check the reading instructions and wait for the countdown to be completed;

3. Confirm the page information, select the information that needs to be modified, then enter new information, click the mobile phone number that sent the verification code to the registered traffic control 12 123APP account, and enter the verification code for verification;

4. After confirmation, click the Save option to complete the modification of vehicle registration information.

What materials should be submitted for motor vehicle registration?

1, the original and photocopy of the identity certificate of the motor vehicle owner;

2. Original or photocopy of the certificate of origin of the motor vehicle. Among them, the national unified motor vehicle sales invoice, notice of assistance in execution and proof of allocation issued by state organs, enterprises, institutions or social organizations are the originals;

3. Original vehicle purchase tax payment certificate or tax exemption certificate;

4, motor vehicle traffic accident liability compulsory insurance third original, the original lost, other copies stamped with the seal of the insurance company.

Legal basis: Article 12 of the Road Traffic Safety Law of the People's Republic of China.

In any of the following circumstances, the corresponding registration shall be handled:

(1) The ownership of a motor vehicle is transferred;

(2) The contents of motor vehicle registration have changed;

(3) Motor vehicles are used as collateral;

(4) The motor vehicle is scrapped.
