Can the WeChat chat record be modified?

Wechat chat records cannot be changed, but can only be backed up or deleted. Taking deleting WeChat chat records as an example, the operation steps are as follows:

1. Open WeChat and click the target friend under the address book;

2. Click Send Message, as shown;

3. Click on the profile icon in the upper right corner;

4. Click "Clear Chat History" in the opened page.
