How to issue state grants?

State subsidies are paid in cash, as follows:

1, the national grant is to show the concern of the party and the government for students from poor families in ordinary undergraduate colleges, higher vocational colleges and junior colleges;

2, funded by the central and local governments, to finance full-time college students with financial difficulties;

3. Since the fall semester of 20 10, the central and local governments have jointly set up state grants to help students from poor families in ordinary high schools, accounting for about 20% of the total number of ordinary high school students in China, including 10% in the eastern region, 20% in the central region and 30% in the western region. According to the actual situation, all localities can appropriately tilt to rural areas, poverty-stricken areas and ethnic minority areas when determining the funded areas. The national average is 3000 yuan per person per year. The specific standards for central universities are determined by the Ministry of Finance in consultation with relevant departments, and local universities are determined by the provinces.

State grants are assessed once every academic year. Before September 30th every year, students apply to the university, and the university completes the evaluation before June165438+1October 15 of that year. State grants are distributed every year in 10 months, and universities distribute state grants to aided students every month. In the same academic year, students who apply for and receive state grants can apply for and receive state scholarships or state inspirational scholarships at the same time. Students majoring in normal education in normal universities directly under the Ministry of Education who are trying out free education will no longer receive state grants at the same time.
