What is the purpose of short messages?

SMS, I find it is not as effective as before!

Freshman, absent-minded in class, texting, M girl!

Sophomore, skip class and go back to the net directly! Not much texting.

Junior year, get lost, study hard and be amazing for n years! Basically, you can't send text messages, you can only call!

Ps: more than n months, 300 short messages, 5 mosquito GPRS, 3 1 mosquito month!
